We were having our weekly vanguard meeting on Saturday morning. It my 2nd time joining them after a long while. We started with a short time of singing worship songs, followed by a time of praying in tongues and then going to lvl 7 to claim the ground where some idols were for years.
While we were praying in tongues, i felt the verses Isaiah 64:1-2, and Zechariah 3:4:
In Isaiah 64, it said,
“Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That you would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence— As fire burns brushwood, As fire causes water to boil— To make Your name known to Your adversaries, That the nations may tremble at Your presence!”
I saw Jesus stretching open the sky and wanting to come into our world as we pray “oh would You rend the heavens and come down!”
He so want to come into our world, that as we cry out for Him to come, it moved His heart even more to come into our world. His desire for us is real.
In Zechariah 3:4, it says,
“Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”
As I read this verse, I felt that He so wants to cloth us with clean, beautiful robes of His righteousness and more. That as we come before Him, He will remove our dirty garments and give us clean, new ones. And more than just garments, He wants to give us robes!
As i read the two verses, especially Isaiah 64, I was so overwhelmed and couldn’t help but kept crying out for Him to invade into our world. He has to come. And we as His people have to desire for Him to come.
